Samit Basu

Samit has over 25 years of experience in researching, designing and building Computed Tomography systems for healthcare and industrial applications. Throughout that time, he has developed new technologies that are now present in airports and hospitals around the globe. More recently, he lead a technology team developing real-time 24/7 monitoring technology for critical infrastructure. As part of that work, he developed RustHDL, a framework for developing FPGA gateware using the Rust programming language. He is currently working as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at a healthcare startup.
